Alma — Cruzan

Since our founding over 20 years ago, we have embraced the concept of leaving the world a better place.

We have chosen to manifest this principle through our actions: we do our best to design unique, architecturally-sustainable, one-of-one projects; focus on win-win outcomes with our stakeholders; provide financial assistance to and support for programs that help our most vulnerable populations; and take leadership and volunteer roles in meaningful industry and educational activities. We also promote active fitness and wellness initiatives at our projects through the formation of robust fitness centers and staffing with wellness-focused teams, and encourage the development of a diverse and engaged workforce at Cruzan.

To honor these values, Cruzan created ALMA, an initiative that celebrates our firm’s history and obligation of leaving the world a better place.

The creation of ALMA was inspired by the intent to brand and highlight things important to us and to leverage our belief system for the benefit of our employees, tenants, partners, clients, and vendors. Our goal is to integrate the efforts that have been so important to us from the beginning with the added focus on providing our properties a more sustainable future through new, thoughtful ways to empower our tenants and their communities.

ALMA is the Spanish translation of SOUL. To have soul means to have a sense of purpose and to be an inclusive space that everyone is proud to call their own. This initiative is an embodiment of those characteristics and is all about heart, passion, and inspiration.
